• BSc (Chemical) / BCom / IMM or equivalent
• 5+years’ experience in same/similar role
• Previous experience in African markets
• Previous travel experience to African countries
• Additional language – Portuguese or French advantageous

Roles & responsibilities

• Maintain & strengthen existing customer relationships
• Develop and research market opportunities (new business /existing business or increase)
• Identify new market opportunities (for growth and increase in sales and market share)
• Compiling, maintaining and updating sales forecasts
• Monitor and report on industry/ market trends
• Competitor analysis and reporting
• Maintain/ increase profitability
• Track sales activities (customer/ market specific)
• Support the Sales & Marketing team/ department
• Handle and resolve complaints
• Drive sales and enhance customer experience
• Maintain up to date customer records and prospect pipeline
• Work cross functionally across all internal departments
• Be first point of contact for employer engagement
• Promote the company in line with corporate image
