Job Summary

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS TO drive the group`s talent strategy by managing resources across all levels, from senior management to entry-level, leading workforce planning, organisational design, and remuneration strategy.

This role fosters a high-performance culture through strategic engagement and retention initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and enhancing employee growth and success.

THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE ARE:

NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A relevant Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience within talent acquisition, talent management, workforce planning, remuneration, or HR strategies.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in HR systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and data analytics tools.
  • Proven experience in HR generalist functions, including:
    • Workforce planning.
    • Competency-based recruitment.
    • Developing interview guides.
    • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in creating job levels, remuneration frameworks, and workforce structures.
  • valid driver’s licence or the ability to commute to work without issue.

HIGHLY BENEFICIAL:

  • Experience in organisational design and change management.
  • Relevant experience in Organisational Development (OD) and Remuneration (REM).

 

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

Resourcing Strategy

  • Provide input to ensure that teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals
  • Ensure that staffing needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies, such as an employer branding initiative, to build pipelines for potential applicants 
  • Create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates
  • Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers
  • Build brand awareness

Talent Management 

  • Succession Planning and Career mapping
  • Assist in creating and maintaining succession planning frameworks to ensure the organisation has a pipeline of skilled leaders ready for future roles.
  • Work closely with leadership to identify and nurture high-potential employees for key roles within the organisation.
  • Support the identification and development of emerging leaders and future senior leaders within the organisation.

Workforce Planning

  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to anticipate future talent needs based on company goals and industry trends.
  • Assist in developing strategies to address workforce gaps and build a diverse talent pipeline.

Organisational Design & Remuneration 

  • Input into the design of optimal structures and levels of work
  •  Job evaluation
  • Manage job levelling and remuneration strategies

Talent Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key talent metrics such as retention rates, employee development progress, and performance trends.
  • Provide data-driven insights to senior management on the effectiveness of talent management initiatives.

Recruitment & Administration

  • Manage ATS system & maintain records
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
  • Create job profiles and interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position
  • Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline

Employee Engagement

  • Facilitate & assist with the implementation of regular surveys and focus groups to assess employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention drivers
