About the Role
Our client, a Manufacturing company based in Durban, has an opportunity for a Trade Tested applicant to join their team as a Toolmaker. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, order, and safety of production areas, while maintaining housekeeping standards as set by 5S systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove all used parts, tools, consumables from the production areas
- Ensure mould surfaces are free of build-up
- Maintain housekeeping standards as set by company 5S systems
- Attend to mould repairs at both toolroom and plant
- Ensure the requirements of ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 are followed
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Trade Qualification in Tool and Die Making
- Skills in plastic manufacturing
- Knowledge of hand tools, basic electrical, and machining
