Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Womens Hairstylist based in the INK area who is flexible to travel to Mount Edgecombe and Durban North to service clients in-salon. The ideal candidate has experience working with diverse hair types and specializes in womens cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments. If you are creative, reliable, and customer-focused, this opportunity is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer consultations to female clients, helping them choose hairstyles that match their personal style and hair condition.
  Perform haircuts, styling (including blowouts, curls, silk press, etc.), and protective styling (e.g., braids, twists, updos).
• Provide hair coloring services, including root touch-ups, balayage, highlights, and toning.
• Apply chemical treatments such as relaxers, keratin treatments, and deep conditioning masks.
• Maintain high hygiene standards, sanitizing tools and workstations regularly.
• Recommend home-care products and maintenance tips to clients.
• Keep up with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products suited to womens hair.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• Minimum 6 months1 year experience as a hairstylist for women.
• Comfortable working with all hair textures, especially natural and chemically treated hair.
• Must be based in or near the INK Area and have reliable transportation for travel to Mount Edgecombe and Durban North.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and communication skills.
• Punctual, professional, and presentable at all times.
