About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salon & Operations Coordinator to join our team in Durbanville, Northern Suburbs, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth, managing staff schedules, and maintaining a welcoming front-of-house experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination of staff & their schedules
  • Drive the monthly turnover – increase sales & revenue
  • Maintain and manage the salon’s sales & stock
  • Update social media accounts
  • Respond to booking requests, telephone queries and WhatsApp communication
  • Client services
  • General salon operations
  • Capture & process payments correctly cash-up
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Maintain the look and hygiene of a welcoming front of house
  • Drive retail of our professional skin care products

Requirements

  • South African citizen
  • Professional English for business communication (write & speak) / Afrikaans – highly beneficial
  • At least 5 years in the Beauty industry with prior Reception & Supervisory experience
  • Diploma in Beauty Therapy / similar – preferred
  • Certification in office administration / secretarial – BONUS
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office and Salon Booking Systems (Salonbridge / ESP)
  • Accounting software experience – BONUS

Salary & Benefits

  • R10,000 BASIC per month (BOE)
