Accountant / Bookkeeper required for a reputable firm based in East London
Requirements:
-
Minimum of 3 years experience within an Accounting Firm environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Proficient in Sage and Pastel Accounting software / Caseware
-
Solid understanding of bookkeeping up to trial balance
-
Experience with SARS verifications, audits, and statutory submissions (IRP5s, EMP201)

Competent in preparing bi-monthly and quarterly financial and management accounts
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers
-
Prepare trial balance and assist with monthly reconciliations

Manage payroll-related submissions and statutory returns
-
Support with financial reporting, management accounts, and audit preparations

Liaise with clients and SARS where required
