About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator with strong Pastel knowledge to provide comprehensive payroll, HR, and administrative support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll using Pastel Payroll
- Calculate all earnings including overtime, LOA, standby, and allowances
- Balance payroll and process payroll batches
- Prepare and distribute payslips
- Maintain and update leave schedules and capture leave on Pastel
- Complete leave forms for all staff
- Compile payroll reports per branch
- Reconcile and control petty cash on a monthly basis
Requirements
- Proven experience in Payroll and HR Administration
- Strong working knowledge of Pastel Payroll (non-negotiable)
- Experience with SARS eFiling, PAYE, UI19, and statutory compliance
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills
