Job Description
- Completed Matric
- Certificate in bookkeeping or studies towards a certification
- 5+ years’ experience in debtors and creditors – a requisite
- Experience in processing books to trial balance
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel
- Knowledge of Kerridge/Autoline advantageous
- Valid drivers’ license
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
- Trustworthy, honest and dedicated
The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to:
- Opening of new accounts
- Daily processing of payments received
- Managing and maintaining debtors’ and creditors’ accounts
- Collections and follow-ups on outstanding amounts
- Printing and distributing monthly statements
- Preparing and processing sundry invoices
- Processing creditor payments and reconciliations
- Loading payments and reconciling balance sheet accounts
- Preparing and processing daily bank payments
- Following up on outstanding invoices
