Finance Manager required for a reputable company based in East London

ROLE OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of managing financial operations in a construction and manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial reporting of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Preparation of Annual Financial Statements
  • Overseeing of audits
  • Reviewing of Debtors, creditors and stock
  • Overseeing monthly inventory stock counts
  • Compiling import orders
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholder
  • Other duties reasonably expected of a Financial Manager and as deemed fit by Management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • SAIPA, SAICA, or other relevant professional certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a construction and manufacturing environment.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of success in financial management and strategic planning.
  • Experience in risk management and financial instruments.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
