East London: HVAC ASSISTANT

HVAC TECHNICIAN ASSISTANT/EAST LONDON – Our client is seeking a highly motivated and reliable HVAC Technician Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with their qualified and experienced technicians to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems . Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent At least 4 years’ experience in HVAC or related field preferred Familiarity with hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed Key Responsibilities: Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, lubricating motors, and replacing worn parts Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs Assist in the installation of new HVAC equipment and systems Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Communicate effectively with team members and clients Keep work area clean and organized Attend training and development programs as required Salary: Rate per hour Psychometric tests are required to be undertaken by shortlisted candidates
