Job Description
A client based in East London is looking for a dynamic Junior Spares Salesman to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Service:
- Engage with customers (e.g., repair shops, dealerships, and mechanics) to understand their needs for automotive spare parts.
- Provide accurate product information, recommend suitable products, and generate sales quotes.
- Assist with the order process, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts, availability, pricing, and order status.

Product Knowledge:
- Develop a good understanding of the automotive spare parts catalog and their applications in different vehicle models.
- Stay updated on new product offerings, trends, and competitor products in the market.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate customer records and orders.
- Assist in managing stock levels, ensuring product availability for orders.

Sales Targets and Reporting:
- Support the sales team in achieving set targets and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
- Track and report on personal performance and progress toward sales goals.

Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing customers.
- Follow up on potential sales leads and ensure the resolution of any customer issues.

Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Assist senior sales staff with marketing, promotions, and other sales-related activities.
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of car parts and the automotive industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and general computer skills.
- A customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
-
- Previous experience in sales or customer service, particularly in the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with automotive spares and their functions.
