About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Reporting Accountant to join our team in East London. As a successful candidate, you will be required to travel between branches and have completed your SAICA articles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, with extensive experience in IFRS statutory reporting and CaseWare.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare underlying working papers for external audit purposes.
- Interact with external auditors at the time of conducting audits.
- Manage financial statements audits and other agreed engagements.
- Examine, analyse, and interpret accounting records to prepare financial statements.
- Prepare annual/interim/monthly financial statements/management accounts.
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.
- 3 – 5 years (inclusive of Articles) of experience in the Accounting Field.
- IFRS statutory reporting experience (essential).
- Extensive CaseWare experience (essential).
- Tax experience (advantageous).
- Sage ERP experience (advantageous).
- Experience with consolidations (advantageous).
Qualifications
- Completed SAICA articles.
