About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative/Technician to join our team in East London. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling products/services to existing and prospective customers face-to-face. You will also perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities

Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers face-to-face
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Submit orders and follow through with internal sales staff
Promote and demonstrate new products in line with supplier target market
Support customer base with all technical needs
Stay informed on the latest technologies within the industry
Monitor opposition activity and report to management
Have monthly meetings with customers to discuss concerns and successes
Attend supplier training sessions and product launches
Provide training at customer level

Requirements

Proven work experience as an External Sales Representative (Decorative, Automotive or Industrial)
Ability to build productive business professional relationships
Ability to conduct analysis and problem solving
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations, solutions and next steps
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

Proven work experience as an External Sales Representative (Decorative, Automotive or Industrial)
