About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, growing existing accounts, and increasing market share within the logistics sector. This role requires a highly experienced sales professional with a strong background in freight forwarding, air freight, and sea freight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities
  • Conduct cold calling and develop new client pipelines
  • Prepare quotations, tenders, RFQs and RFIs
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity
  • Provide logistics consulting solutions to clients
  • Develop and exchange sales leads globally
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets

Requirements

  • Matric (essential)
  • 35 years experience in Logistics Sales
  • Strong background in Freight Forwarding
  • Sales Air Freight & Sea Freight experience (non-negotiable)
  • Imports & Exports experience essential
  • Proven track record in new business development
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
