Job Summary
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Import and reconcile bank accounts (FNB & Standard Bank) daily, ensuring no allocations older than 2 days.
- Distribute bank statements and unallocated deposits to staff daily.
- Prioritize daily SOT & Bridging checks and load floorplan payments (disciplinary action for non-compliance).
- Reconcile Cash on Hand account, resolving unknown transactions within 2 days.
- Submit daily cashflow reports to Accountant/Financial Manager.
- Verify EFT payments and confirm funds in FNB as requested.
- Process and balance vehicle floorplan accounts, including interest and admin fees.
- Manage intercompany interest and loan account (NL 4555).
- Process credit card statements and SAF data collation for monthly bank statements.
- Handle Guardrisk Borderauxs and split invoicing for regulated products.
- Ensure purchase accounts (800001–800911) are allocated and reconciled.
- Raise sundry invoices for shared expenses and clear outstanding cash accounts.
- Stand in for creditors clerk as needed.

Qualifications & Experience
- Matric Certificate.
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Experience with dealership management systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of automotive retail compliance standards.
