Job Summary
Dealership based in Edenvale is looking for a Junior Stock Controller.
Requirements:
- At least 1 to 2 years` experience in a similar role
- Organized
- Friendly and outgoing
- Attention to detail
- Data Entry skills
- Problem Solving
Duties to include:
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate records of all automotive parts and supplies, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet demand without overstocking.
- Stock Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile physical inventory with system records, identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
- Order Processing: Assist in the ordering process by tracking inventory levels, placing orders for new stock, and ensuring timely receipt and storage of parts.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately input inventory data into the management system and generate regular reports on stock levels, usage patterns, and inventory turnover rates.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming stock for quality and accuracy, ensuring that all parts meet the required standards and specifications before they are added to inventory.
