Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an HR Officer to join their team in Jeffreys Bay. The company operates in the wind energy industry and is a specialist mechanical and electrical engineering service provider, offering services to both private and public sector clients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.

• Administer payroll, employee benefits, and compensation structures.

• Handle industrial relations matters, including dispute resolution and disciplinary procedures.

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives.

• Maintain accurate HR records and compile reports for management.

• Facilitate training and development programs for employees.

• Foster a positive workplace culture and drive employee engagement initiatives.

• Assist with performance management and succession planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in an HR Officer or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of South African labor laws and HR best practices.

• Experience in the renewable energy, engineering, or industrial sectors is advantageous.

• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
