About the Role
As a Sales Representative at Staff Solutions, you will be responsible for driving business growth and maintaining our company’s brand reputation in a professional manner. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions using your expertise in advanced cleaning and sanitation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the company’s brand reputation and business ethos in a professional manner at all times.
- Call on an average of ten (10) clients per day and ensure the weekly call report is completed and submitted to the Sales Manager.
- Complete and manage a client call planner, repeated on a 4–6 week cycle.
- Monitor sales performance and gross profit activities.
- Present and sell company products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through field activities.
- Conduct product demonstrations at new and existing client sites.
- Develop new business opportunities within existing accounts (upselling).
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Sales or Marketing Diploma (advantageous)
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar sales environment (essential)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent selling, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle required
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines

Communication & Feedback
- Attend and actively participate in all sales meetings.
- Communicate market intelligence, including competitor products, special account developments, and field activity insights, to the Sales Manager.
- Provide the Sales Manager with relevant service report data as required.
- Submit weekly sales and technical reports to the Sales Manager.
- Adhere to Company Data and Communication Policies at all times.
- Use prescribed templates where applicable.
- Comply with all set deadlines.
Administration Services
- Assist the Debtors Department with follow-ups on outstanding monies when required.
- Ensure correct completion of cash or credit application forms for all new clients.
- Maintain accurate and updated client contact information.
- Manage product merchandising in the market, maintaining strict brand image control (e.g. stickers, wall charts).
- Provide quotations within 24 hours of client visits and ensure timely follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards relevant to product supply at client sites.
- Perform stock management and stock taking as required.
Self-Development
- Continuously expand product knowledge, including chemicals, dosing equipment, and cleaning systems.
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends.
- Attend all company-provided training courses.
- Continuously improve selling skills through self-study and development.
