About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in the Eastern Cape region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. If you have a passion for sales and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Call on an average of ten (10) clients per day and ensure the weekly call report is completed and submitted to the Sales Manager.
- Complete and manage a client call planner, repeated on a 4–6 week cycle.
- Monitor sales performance and gross profit activities.
- Present and sell company products and services to both existing and prospective clients.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals generated through field activities.
- Conduct product demonstrations at new and existing client sites.
- Develop new business opportunities within existing accounts (upselling).
- Achieve agreed sales targets.
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar sales environment (essential)
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent selling, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle required
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Bilingual
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Sales or Marketing Diploma (advantageous)
