About the Role
The Eastern Cape region requires a skilled Temp Quality Engineer (Mechanical) to join Staff Solutions’ team. As a key member of our quality control department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that motor vehicle components perform consistently to specification throughout their entire life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and manage the Qualification Programme for new part introductions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of deviations from specifications and implementing corrective actions across all phases of the component life cycle.
- Test and evaluate component performance against defined specifications.
- Provide technical expertise on complete parts with regard to material selection and functional performance.
- Initiate design improvements to resolve complex component-related issues.
Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant work experience within a manufacturing environment.
