Job Description: Deli Counter Hand (Retail)

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Deli Counter Hand to join our retail team. In this role, you will assist customers with their deli orders, ensure the deli section is well-stocked, and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will provide excellent customer service while handling and preparing a variety of meats, cheeses, and other deli products.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers, take orders, and provide helpful recommendations on deli items like meats, cheeses, and prepared foods.
• Product Handling: Slice, weigh, and package deli products according to customer requests and store standards.
• Display & Stocking: Arrange deli items attractively and keep shelves and displays well-stocked and organized.
• Food Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and cleaning procedures.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of the deli counter and equipment, ensuring a safe, tidy work environment.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about deli offerings and be able to provide customers with product information and suggestions.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Prior experience in a deli or food service is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
