About the Role
MSP Staffing LTD is seeking a highly skilled Specialist: Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will lead technical projects, mentor junior developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure software solutions meet performance, reliability, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#.NET and Visual Basic.NET
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and reports
- Develop and improve complex software applications with scalable architectures
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party developers to deliver projects on time
- Maintain and enhance existing codebases; implement new product features and enhancements
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into high-performance technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and integration issues
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments
- Document technical implementations and changes
- Apply best practices in database development and administration
- Provide application support to business users where required
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field
- 8 years of software development experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#.NET, and SQL
- Strong experience in SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, and indexing strategies
- Experience with web services and REST API development and integration
