About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller / Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Ekurhuleni. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring accurate stock movement documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock ordering and replenishment across multiple product lines
- Inventory costing, valuation, and variance analysis
- Liaising with local and international suppliers regarding purchase orders, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Coordinating with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and courier companies for import and local shipments
- Managing inter-branch stock transfers and ensuring accurate stock movement documentation
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock reconciliations
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an inventory control, procurement, or supply chain role
- Working knowledge of SYSPRO ERP system highly preferred
- Strong understanding of import/export documentation and logistics processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g. supply chain management, logistics)
