Minimum requirements: Matric Holds a tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Marketing, or Business (advantageous) with more than 5 years of proven experience as a Retail Manager within Agriculture (recommended) Duties and Responsibilities Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective clients Identify priority products for the area of responsibility Manage all operations and delegate responsibilities to staff Supervise and lead staff to achieve maximum performance Manage stock levels and purchasing Handle customer complaints to protect the stores reputation Oversee promotions and in-store displays Stay up to date with market trends to identify improvement needs for the store Analyse sales and revenue reports and prepare forecasts Promote priority products based on customer needs and product benefits Maintain sound product knowledge, including competitor products Track customer sales history and success rates to ensure repeat orders Identify product development needs Achieve targets in line with company strategy and policies Manage sales objectives by projecting expected sales volumes Maintain constant awareness of economic indicators, changing trends, demand and supply, and competitors Contribute positively by achieving expected results Provide input into the development and implementation of new programmes, sales initiatives, and strategies Document client interactions and manage data relating to activities, accounts, and partners Ensure the effectiveness of cross-selling activities Contribute to the development and review of long-term sales strategies Consultant: MERIǪUE GOUWS – Dante Personnel Greenstone
