Job Summary
Description:
Hire Resolve`s Client is looking for an experienced HR Superintendent to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The HR Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions within the mining site, ensuring compliance with company policies and South African labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives and South African labour laws.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for all levels of employees within the mining site.
- Oversee employee training and development programs to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions in a fair and consistent manner.
- Monitor and report on HR metrics such as turnover rate, absenteeism, and training completion rates.
- Work closely with senior management to identify staffing needs and plan for future workforce requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to departmental managers on HR-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the mining site.
- Manage and resolve any labor disputes or industrial relations issues that may arise.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in HR Management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years` experience in the mining industry.
- Experience working in the Coal mining industry.
- Extensive experience in Disciplinary Case Handling, Union matters, CCMA Representations, Labour Relations and Labour Management.
- Valid Drivers` License
