About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Empangeni: a 4-star hotel in KwaZulu-Natal. As an integral part of our F&B division, you will assist the Complex Food and Beverage Manager in running all Restaurants, Bars, and Room Service operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high standards of service, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the F&B Operation, including Restaurants, Bars, Banqueting, and Room Service
• Collaborate closely with Groups & Conventions, National Sales, F&B Control, Kitchen, and Finance to ensure effective communication and discipline among employees
• Monitor financial budgets, track costs and revenues within allocated portfolios
• Attend to guest queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain standards and services in line with complex grading requirements
• Work closely with the Promotions department to execute F&B promotions smoothly
• Ensure consistent application of IR and HR policies throughout the F&B department
• Implement Revenue and Service Improvement Strategies to maximize profitability
