About the Role
Tsebo Catering Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Catering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of a Key Account, ensuring high-quality standards of deliverables in line with site-specific SLA’s. You will also be responsible for managing client relations, performing site visits, and supporting the development of site management.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility and management of the unit
- Work in a demanding environment
- Set and manage service delivery standards
- Lead, motivate, train, and develop a team of staff
- Implement and maintain operational controls within budgetary requirements
- Ensure quality of food preparation, presentation, and service is up to Fedics standards
- Comply with all Fedics policies and procedures
- Analyse and pre-empt client needs and possible complaints
- Manage all administration, finances, debtors, budgets, etc.
- Process Fedics paperwork and compile & understand weekly & monthly P & L
- Build relationships with the client and customers on a daily basis
- Work long hours and over weekends as needed
- Stay abreast of latest food trends and best practices

Qualifications
- Matric
- Culinary Tertiary qualifications
- Minimum of 5 yrs exp in a similar role/Management exp
- Familiarity with accounting systems
- Previous experience in the Healthcare Space (highly advantageous)
