About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional value to our customers in the eThekwini region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating new opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

Acquire New Business for both Air and Sea
Facilitate processing of credit application
Implementation (New and existing client)
Client Servicing
Report on Sales Activities
Cost freight movements and prepare service estimates
Comply with the requirements of the quality management system

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in sales and marketing related qualification at NQF level 5
At least 5 years working experience as a sales representative in a service industry, with at least 3 consecutive years in the clearing and forwarding industry
Strong understanding of servicing & marketing principles & practice
International Trade principles & practice
External business environment

Qualifications

Education Matric 1 year Sales and Marketing related qualification at NQF level 5
