About the Role
The Press Tool Setter role is a critical position within our manufacturing team, requiring a skilled individual with extensive experience in metal pressing environments. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Pinetown, KZN.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and maintain high-quality tooling for various metal pressing operations
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure tool accuracy and precision
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tooling equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
- Qualifications: NQF Level 4 / Trade Test / QBE (Qualified by Experience)
- Recognised Trade Test in Toolsetting or Toolmaking highly preferred, or proven equivalent experience
- Minimum of 35 years experience specifically in a metal pressing environment
- Certifications: Valid Forklift license and Valid Overhead Crane license
