About the Role
The eThekwini: Repair Shop Assistant – Commercial Vehicle role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team in Pinnerown. As a key member of our repair shop, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our commercial vehicle technicians, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist commercial vehicle technicians with repairs and maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle repairs and parts inventory
- Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to achieve repair goals and deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle servicing and parts
- Valid Code 1014 drivers licence with PrDP
- Ability to read and write in English
- Strong teamwork, timekeeping, and communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious
