About the Role
MSP Staffing LTD is seeking a Technical Lead for a hybrid role based in Durban, where you will lead software development teams and drive technical decisions. As a key member of our client’s team, you will be responsible for mentoring developers, defining architecture, and driving strategic technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead software development teams and drive technical decisions
- Mentor developers and provide guidance on best practices
- Define architecture and implement solutions using React and .NET Core
- Develop and maintain strong cloud experience with Azure
- Implement container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Manage CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/App Insights)
- Design and implement messaging/eventing systems using Kafka/RabbitMQ
- Develop API gateways and distributed systems
Requirements
- Qualification: National Diploma or BSc in Computer Science / Information Systems (or equivalent)
- Experience: 6 years in software development with leadership and architectural impact
- Deep expertise in React and .NET Core
- Strong cloud experience (Azure)
- Container orchestration (Kubernetes) advantageous
- Hands-on with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and observability tools (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/App Insights)
- Experience with messaging/eventing (Kafka/RabbitMQ), API gateways, and distributed systems
Qualifications
Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure Architect) advantageous.
