Job Summary
- Matric. (Grade 12)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in internal sales, preferably within a retail environment.
- Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service:
- Engage with walk-in customers, providing product information and assistance to drive sales.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers.
Invoicing and Order Processing:
- Generate accurate invoices and ensure all sales transactions are recorded correctly.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of orders.
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with the procurement team to replenish inventory as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of quotations and tenders for clients.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all sales activities.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with external sales representatives to coordinate sales efforts and share customer insights.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss sales targets, strategies, and performance.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.
