About the Role

We are seeking a Business Systems Expert to join our team in Fourways. As a key member of our commercial analytics team, you will be responsible for reviewing and validating data accuracy and integrity from internal and external sources, as well as providing input on budgeting and forecasting to achieve organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validation of data accuracy and integrity from internal and external data sources
  • Co-ordination and implementation of integrated data intelligence with business requirements
  • Provide input in budgeting and forecasting for sales, marketing, and business planning
  • Interpret data and construct insights through statistical modelling and trend analysis
  • Analyze sales and marketing reports and suggest strategies for improving business performance
  • Supporting commercial decisions through financial modelling, scenario planning, and forecasting techniques
  • Coordinate with finance team to streamline and channel efforts to improve financial performance of the organization
  • Provide training to newly recruited team members, as applicable, and ensure and monitor their performance and contribution to the commercial analytics team
  • Evaluate and implement sales systems, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the chosen routes
  • Collaborate with IT department to ensure seamless integration of sales systems
  • Assist with automating all manual processes by using BI knowledge to create meaningful reports with dashboards to fulfill user requirements
  • Define, develop, enhance, and track metrics via PowerBI Dashboards and automated Excel
  • Fully support Sage X3 and resolve all issues speedily
  • Maintain Masterdata accuracy and ensure GL integrations are properly configured

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (must be obtained)
  • Accounting/Finance, Statistics, or Economics preferred
  • 5 years of experience in a Business or Commercial Analyst role
  • Knowledge of basic data analysis tools like MS Excel
  • Ability to understand and apply statistical concepts to derive insights from financial data
  • Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau and PowerBI
  • Strong BI knowledge with the capability to quickly learn new BI platforms
  • SQL Query, general SQL usage is a key skill used daily
  • Industry Knowledge (FMCG)
  • Strong Sage X3 and Financial knowledge
  • Python scripting is highly valued

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Expert to join our team in Fourways. This role involves reviewing and validating data accuracy and integrity, coordinating integrated data intelligence with business requirements, and providing strategic insights to support organizational objectives.

  • Evaluate and implement sales systems, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the chosen routes.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of sales systems.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree is a must. Accounting/Finance, Statistics, or Economics is preferred. 5 years of experience in a Business or Commercial Analyst role is required. Knowledge of basic data analysis tools like MS Excel is necessary. Ability to understand and apply statistical concepts to derive insights from financial data is essential. Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau and Power BI is highly valued. SQL Query, general SQL usage is a key skill used daily.
