About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our 5-star boutique hotel in Franschhoek. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hospitality accounting, with experience using Protel PMS and Sage Evolution systems. A proven track record of working with Nedbank is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage financial reporting and analysis for the hotel
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of bills and salaries
  • Prepare and submit financial reports to management
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 2 years’ hospitality accounting experience
  • Experience using Protel PMS and Sage Evolution systems
  • Advantageous Nedbank experience

Qualifications

  • Formal education in Accounting or related field (if applicable)

Salary & Benefits

  • R30-R32K per annum
