Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD for steel walkways, trench covers, handrails, balustrades, stair treads, and other structural components.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Interpret and incorporate design feedback from engineers and project stakeholders.
• Produce accurate and clear fabrication and assembly drawings.
• Modify designs based on site measurements, material specifications, and client requirements.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) and cost estimates for steel fabrication projects.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to review and refine project designs for manufacturability and installation.
• Work with fabricators and site teams to resolve any issues related to design or installation.
• Maintain and organize design documentation and ensure all revisions are updated.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.

Minimum

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with experience in steel-related design.
• Proven experience in drafting steel structures such as walkways, grating, balustrades, handrails, trench covers, stair treads, and mini mesh.
• Strong understanding of fabrication and construction processes, particularly for steel components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot design challenges.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience: 5 years in a similar role (preferably in steel structure design).
• Familiarity with other CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Revit) is a plus.
• Knowledge of 3D modeling is an advantage.

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Relevant certifications in AutoCAD are highly desirable.
