About the Role
TalentFuse (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Customer Order Specialist to join our team. As the primary point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end customer order process, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and driving accountability across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end customer order process, from order receipt to final delivery.
- Capture and process orders accurately using the company’s ERP system.
- Coordinate closely with sales, production and warehouse teams to ensure orders are fulfilled within dispatch timelines.
- Monitor stock availability and proactively flag stock shortages.
- Review production schedules and escalate where necessary to ensure orders are prioritised and delivered on time.
- Track deliveries and ensure orders reach customers complete and on schedule.
- Manage returns and resolve order-related issues quickly and effectively.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, delays or potential challenges.
- Work across multiple departments to drive accountability and ensure customers receive their stock as promised.
Requirements
- Matric is a minimum requirement
- Previous experience in order management, customer service or supply chain coordination
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Exposure to manufacturing, distribution, FMCG or supply chain environments is advantageous
- Comfortable working closely with production and warehouse teams
- Strong administrative and coordination skills
