About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Debtors Clerk to join our team in Randburg, West Rand. As a key member of our accounts receivable department, you will be responsible for managing debtor accounts, performing reconciliations, and ensuring timely payments. Key Responsibilities
- Performing debtor account reconciliations
- Managing collections and following up on outstanding payments
- Allocating payments accurately to customer accounts
- Capturing debtor transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Liaising with internal teams and clients regarding account queries
- Ensuring debtor accounts are up to date and discrepancies are resolved
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Debtors Clerk or similar accounts receivable role
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Experience with collections and follow-ups on outstanding accounts
- Accurate allocation of payments
- Data capturing experience with a high level of attention to detail
- Basic to intermediate MS Excel skills
