About the Role

The Director of Food & Beverage will lead the overall management of all food and beverage outlets, including banqueting and events, in a luxury hotel or resort environment. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of guest service standards and luxury hospitality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management of all food and beverage outlets, including banqueting and events
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts and departmental financial plans
  • Monitor revenue, costs and profitability, implementing strategies to maximise margins
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling and performance management of outlet managers and teams
  • Drive employee engagement, training and succession planning initiatives
  • Collaborate with Executive Chefs on menu development, promotions and food concepts
  • Review guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
  • Develop marketing and promotional plans to increase outlet performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and private clients
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and operational standards
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain service excellence and quality benchmarks

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Proven experience in a senior Food and Beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort environment
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and P&L management
  • Experience managing multiple outlets and banqueting operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication and people development skills
  • Strong understanding of guest service standards and luxury hospitality expectations
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency and deliver commercial results
