• 3-Phase Wireman’s License (non-negotiable)
• Certified and registered to issue and sign off 3-Phase Certificates of Compliance
• Proven experience as a 3-phase installation electrician
• Solid understanding of electrical compliance and Occupational Health and Safety regulations in South Africa
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physically fit and comfortable working on active installation sites
• Competent in the use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and hand and power tools
• Valid driver’s license
• Solar PV installation experience will be advantageous
• Previous exposure to supervising teams or subcontractors 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections before, during and after solar installations or system upgrades
• Perform quality control checks to ensure neat, safe and compliant installations
• Inspect electrical installations and issue or sign off Certificates of Compliance where required
• Identify installation or workmanship issues and report findings to management
• Compile and submit detailed site inspection and quality reports
• Oversee and support subcontractors and installation teams on site
• Assist with solar system fault-finding and troubleshooting
• Act as the on-site point of authority while maintaining communication with coordinators and managers
• Attend to escalated client technical issues that require site intervention
• Participate in standby or after-hours support on a rotational basis for urgent client power issues
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all sites
