Key Responsibility and Authority
- Select the right people
- Manage and Co-ordinate Subordinates
- Plan, manage and co-ordinate production and progress improvement
- Ensure production targets are met
- Stop production when found out of control or specification
- Maintain quality – monitor, record and reduce scrap and re-work
- Signing off of 1st off samples on setup and inspection reports
- Report department performance to Management
- Ensure sufficient resources and all equipment is ready and in good working order
- Uphold company values, vision, policies, processes, procedures and systems
- Discipline, coach and counsel employees appropriately
- Ensure production staff are trained and skilled
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
