About the Role
Craven Cottage CC is seeking an experienced Group & Series Specialist Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing group and series bookings, ensuring seamless communication with clients and suppliers, and maintaining the highest level of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to written requests and provide written confirmations
- Load reservations on Tourplan
- Ensure confirmation of services with suppliers
- Stay in constant communication with agents regarding status of reservations, payment requirements, deadlines, and conditions of reservations
- Arrange Meet and Greets as required
- Compile travel packs for clients
- Vouchers
- Rooming lists
- Filing
- Manage payments and Account queries
- Book tour guide services as required
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- At least 3 – 5 years’ work experience dealing with group series within the tourism industry
- Excellent South African and Regional geographic knowledge
- Attention to detail is essential
- A mature approach when dealing with people
- Capacity for dealing with employers and workers at all levels
- Confidentiality, tact, and discretion when dealing with people
- Excellent planning, organisational, and analytical skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Integrity and Honesty
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good Problem-solving skills
- Negotiation and liaison abilities
Qualifications
- Travel & Tourism qualification (preference)
- Tourplan knowledge and execution (preference)
