Job Summary

Our client is looking to fill the following vacancy: Lead Engineer and Qualified engineers. Required to have experience within the Mine environment, which includes material handling, pumping, infrastructure such as vertical and decline shafts, lamp rooms, workshops stores, change houses, substations, control rooms, offices, etc.RESPONSIBLE FOR: Do conceptual designs as required Design for safety and constructability Checking of drawings for compliance with the designs and relevant specifications Monitoring of construction work on a basis as agreed with the client Assistance with project planning and co-ordination Attendance of site construction, project planning, site inspection, design review, project review and month end meetings as required compilation of contract documentation Review of project and technical specifications Liaison with and co-ordination of external professionals and consultants Adjudication of enquiries / tenders Initiation of requisitions to order Drawing up and motivation of relevant changes to Scope Signing off, of payment certificates Adjudication of claims in accordance with the signed contract. Ensure timeous information flow / issue of drawings to site for construction purposes Ensure filing of all information / correspondence to ISO standardsQualifications: Post matric qualification, GCC, Professional registration (preferable)
