About the Role
As a Legal Litigation Secretary at ARCS, you will provide administrative support to the Director and/or Attorneys, handling daily litigation-related tasks and managing correspondence with clients and other legal representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Director and/or Attorneys
- Attend to daily litigation-related administrative tasks
- Manage correspondence between clients and other legal representatives
- Attend to date applications and filing of legal documents
- Typing of legal documents and correspondence via Dictaphone
- Perform basic legal drafting when required
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation of legal matters
- Perform additional legal administrative tasks as instructed by the Director or Attorneys
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Civil Litigation Typist / Legal Litigation Secretary
- Proven experience with Road Accident Fund (RAF) / Third Party Claims matters
- Dictaphone typing experience is essential
- Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and legal documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Practical working knowledge of:
- Court Online
- CaseLines
- AJS
Qualifications
Any additional legal qualification or certification in the legal field
