As the Lighting Sales Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with strong business development skills. You will consult with clients, conduct lighting assessments, deliver product demonstrations, and propose tailored lighting solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and overall design outcomes.
This role offers the chance to work with architects, contractors, engineers, endusers, and procurement teams while growing your footprint in the Gauteng region.
Education:
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related technical field.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in lighting solutions, LED technologies, electrical products, or related technical sales.
- Strong understanding of lighting design principles, energyefficient solutions, and technical specifications.
- Experience doing lighting surveys, lux level assessments, or working with lighting design software (e.g., Dialux or Relux) is advantageous.
- Proven track record in sales, customer engagement, and solutionselling.
- Ability to engage with consultants, contractors, facility managers, and project teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within Gauteng.
