About the Role
The Parts Picker/Packer is a critical role in supporting efficient parts supply to our customers and internal service teams within the construction and concrete equipment industry. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate orders, maintaining high service levels, and contributing to our company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick spare parts and components according to picking slips, SAP system orders, or dispatch instructions
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and descriptions to ensure order accuracy
- Pack parts securely to prevent damage during handling and transportation
- Label and prepare consignments for dispatch or courier collection
- Assist with receiving and checking inbound stock against delivery notes
- Bin and store parts in the correct warehouse locations
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety standards in the warehouse
- Assist with stock counts, cycle counts, and stock takes as required
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect stock to the Warehouse Supervisor or Parts Manager
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures
- Support general warehouse operations and duties when required
Requirements
- Grade 10–12 or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, parts picking, or packing role (automotive, engineering, or industrial parts environment preferred)
- Basic computer literacy (SAP or similar ERP system experience advantageous)
- Ability to read and understand part numbers and picking documentation
- Physically fit and able to lift and move parts and cartons
- Willingness to work overtime when operationally required
