About the Role
Network Finance, a leading engineering and consulting company specializing in electrical engineering solutions, equipment supply, and project management, is seeking a skilled Plant Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our electrical engineering solutions division, you will be responsible for designing MV/HV substations from 33kV to 400kV, including both indoor and outdoor configurations.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary Plant Design: Design MV/HV substations from 33kV to 400kV, including both indoor and outdoor configurations.
- Secondary Plant Design: Develop protection and control systems for indoor substations, outdoor substations, and overhead lines (OHL).
- Work with leading protection IEDs from SEL, ABB, Siemens, and GE.
- Collaborate on cutting-edge projects that shape the power grid.
Requirements
- Proven experience in MV/HV substation design (primary and secondary plant).
- Familiarity with international standards and best practices.
- Strong technical knowledge of protection systems and IEDs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- B.Eng or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng) advantageous.
