About the Role

Join a globally active player in the adhesive industry as a Purchase and Planning Supervisor, where you will take ownership of procurement and planning operations within an international supply chain environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven professional to optimise processes, manage supplier performance, and play a key role in ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure on-time procurement and availability of finished goods in line with demand forecasts and confirmed sales orders.
Collaborate with global sourcing and S&OP teams to align supply with business requirements.
Manage both imported and local supply, ensuring full compliance with customs, excise, and import regulations.
Oversee logistics coordination, customs clearance, and end-to-end order tracking through to dispatch.
Utilize MRP systems to optimise inventory levels and achieve targeted stock and service level objectives.
Prepare and maintain key procurement and EXIM reports for stakeholders.
Monitor supplier performance, resolve quality or delivery issues, and manage vendor payments in accordance with company processes.
Review slow-moving and obsolete stock to minimise financial impact and support overall inventory performance.
Maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal procurement procedures.

Requirements

A tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a planning and purchasing supervisory role.
Proven experience sourcing finished goods is essential.
Experience working with international suppliers is required.
