You will be responsible for managing and collecting rent payments from tenants, ensuring that lease agreements are accurately invoiced, and maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable for residential properties. Key duties include processing invoices, following up on overdue payments, performing account reconciliations, and handling tenant inquiries related to billing. Experience in application processing and credit vetting Experience in residential leasing and residential / debtors collections MDA / MRI experience is not negotiable Ad hoc filing , drawing up of schedules and admin organization Intermediate in MS Excel Invoicing and Billing: Processing and sending out monthly rental invoices to tenants in accordance with their lease agreements. Payment Collection: Following up on outstanding rental payments, performing debt collection from the specified date each month, and managing overdue accounts. Account Reconciliation: Reconciling tenant statements to the accounts receivable ledger and ensuring all payments are allocated correctly. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized records of all debtor accounts and related documentation. Tenant Liaison: Resolving tenant queries related to rental payments and other billing issues. Reporting: Running monthly age analyses of tenant accounts and providing reports on overdue rentals to management or financial accountants. Admin Support: Creating new client accounts and providing general administrative support for debtors, including managing FICA documentation for new tenants.
