Job Description
- Identify, target, and secure new truck rental customers
- Actively canvass and prospect in the market through cold calling and site visits
- Build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
- Present truck rental solutions to potential clients
- Prepare quotations and proposals
- Negotiate and close new contracts
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities
- Liaise with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven sales experience in truck rental, transport, or logistics
- Strong new business development experience (hunter profile)
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel and spend time on the road
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Target-driven and self-motivated
- Computer literate
Advantageous:
- Existing client base within truck rental or logistics
- Knowledge of fleet and transport operations
