About the Role

The Senior CNC Milling Setter role at ESG Recruitment involves overseeing the production process, ensuring targets are met, and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Completes production by sufficient planning; scheduling and assigning staff to accomplish work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; forecasting problems, resolving problems; ensuring productions targets are met and reporting results to the Machine Shop Manager.
• Liaise and communicate production with other production and project managers.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain quality by monitoring production; reducing scrap and re-work and enforcing organization quality standards.
• Uphold company values, vision, policies, processes, procedures and systems; discipline, coach and counsel employees appropriately.
• Accepts and embraces change, innovative and receptive to new ideas; encourages others to accept, be receptive and deal with change; initiates change when necessary; solves problems and provides solutions.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and coaching personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established health and safety legislation policies and procedures and emphasising good housekeeping practices within the department.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge current by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies and Improves supervisory skills through internal and external training programs.
