• Completes production by sufficient planning; scheduling and assigning staff to accomplish work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; forecasting problems, resolving problems; ensuring productions targets are met and reporting results to the Machine Shop Manager.
• Liaise and communicate production with other production and project managers.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintain quality by monitoring production; reducing scrap and re-work and enforcing organization quality standards.
• Uphold company values, vision, policies, processes, procedures and systems; discipline, coach and counsel employees appropriately.

Key Responsibility and Authority

1. Manage and Co-ordinate team with Supervisor
2. Assist with planning, managing and co-ordination of production and progress improvement
3. Ensure production targets are met
4. Stop production when found out of control or specification
5. Maintain quality – monitor, record and reduce scrap and re-work
6. Signing off of 1st off samples on setup and inspection reports
7. Ensure sufficient resources and all equipment is ready and in good working order
8. Uphold company values, vision, policies, processes, procedures and systems
9. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
