About the Role
The Senior Fundraising and Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in strengthening Wild Impact’s reputation, credibility, and long-term impact across its conservation and community portfolio. This role focuses on identifying, establishing, and nurturing high-value private, public, and corporate donor-based partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with South African, regional, and global teams to drive grant prospecting & proposal development
- Partner with Operations and Finance teams to prepare and refine budgets
- Collaborate with the Impact Insights team to develop results frameworks
- Maintain proposal and reporting templates (boilerplates)
- Coordinate reporting processes
- Prepare fundraising reports for the Board of Directors
- Maintain a live database of global and regional donors
- Track philanthropy trends to inform long-term fundraising strategy
- Ensure strict adherence to Wild Impact’s policies regarding funding sources, confidentiality, and data handling
Requirements
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and managing multiple donor relationships under tight deadlines
- Strong capacity for budget oversight and impact measurement
- Proven success in fundraising with a well-established network
- Ability to scale revenue to over R50,000,000 per annum within three years
Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Honours degree in a relevant field.
