About the Role

The Senior Fundraising and Partnerships Manager plays a critical role in strengthening Wild Impact’s reputation, credibility, and long-term impact across its conservation and community portfolio. This role focuses on identifying, establishing, and nurturing high-value private, public, and corporate donor-based partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with South African, regional, and global teams to drive grant prospecting & proposal development
  • Partner with Operations and Finance teams to prepare and refine budgets
  • Collaborate with the Impact Insights team to develop results frameworks
  • Maintain proposal and reporting templates (boilerplates)
  • Coordinate reporting processes
  • Prepare fundraising reports for the Board of Directors
  • Maintain a live database of global and regional donors
  • Track philanthropy trends to inform long-term fundraising strategy
  • Ensure strict adherence to Wild Impact’s policies regarding funding sources, confidentiality, and data handling

Requirements

  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and managing multiple donor relationships under tight deadlines
  • Strong capacity for budget oversight and impact measurement
  • Proven success in fundraising with a well-established network
  • Ability to scale revenue to over R50,000,000 per annum within three years

Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor’s or Honours degree in a relevant field.
